Tsunami Relief Prayer Needs

Starting this Wednesday, the DTS students and some of the staff will be going up to Ishinomaki which is one of the hardest hit areas from the earthquake and tsunami back on March 11th. We will be doing a lot of manual labor like cleaning out houses and picking up debris. We will also be enjoying and being in the company of the Japanese people who lost so much in the disaster. If you could please partner with us as we go to serve and love on the people in the devastated area.

1) Unity among the group- submission to authority and practicing thankful and life bringing lifestyles and ways of speaking to one another

2) Safety/protection from the Lord- the area since the earthquake has had a lot of problems including: more earthquakes, tsunamis, radiation, hazardous waste/muck to clean up, and so much more

3) Open Doors - that the people of all the tsunami and earthquake devastated areas would be open in sharing their stories, and hearing the gospel/receiving prayer and Jesus

4) Staying Focused - primarily on Jesus, then on the people of Japan, and on what we are doing and not get distracted with the future, the rest of our DTS, or other distractions

5) God would continue to reveal more to us - that this time wouldn't be only a time of hard labor and helping the Japanese people, but also a time that He would reveal more of Himself to us, and that we would continue to grow with Him
